The Immigrant Rights Campaign is our commitment to standing with immigrant communities against detention, deportation, and state violence. We organize for collective defense, community-led safety, and material support while building long-term power to dismantle racist and capitalist immigration systems. No one is illegal on stolen land, and solidarity is our strategy.

For over a year, Broward County DSA members have shown up every single Saturday to defend abortion access at East Cypress Women’s Center in Oakland Park, FL. Our Clinic Defense through the Mutual Aid Working Group supports patients, protects clinic staff and clients from harassment, and makes sure our community has access to real resources, not misinformation.

We’re ready to grow this work and potentially expand to additional clinics, but we need more volunteers to keep it going.

As a volunteer, you’ll receive a pink “Pro-Abortion Clinic Escort” vest and mask, plus everything you need for your shift. Here's what we typically do during shifts:

• Distributes Repro Kits assembled in collaboration with Florida Access Network

• Shares printed information on funding support, free food programs, and community resources

• Helps maintain a safe, accessible entrance for patients

• Shows real solidarity through consistent, compassionate presence
