Become an Official Member of Broward County DSA

Joining DSA is the best way to fight for democratic socialism and get involved in building working class power in the United States. As a member-based and member-led organization, we are organizing against the evils of capitalism all across the country for the better world we know is possible. 

Democratic socialists believe that our economy should be built democratically, by and for working people, not by billionaires for profit.

Why get involved at the local chapter level with Broward County DSA?

The majority of DSA’s work happens at the chapter level, and that’s where we recommend that new organizers get started. DSA chapters organize campaigns to transform their communities and spread our political ideas in communities across the country. In Broward County DSA, we take on diverse work that speaks to our local conditions: running our first democratic socialists electoral campaign, immigration rights canvassing, labor solidarity forums, ongoing mutual aid work, and more! Your address will assign you to our chapter. If you are facing any financial hardship, you can fill out a dues waiver for a free 12-months of DSA membership here.

Start Solidarity Dues or Make a Direct Contribution

DSA is entirely member-funded. This means we are accountable to members and NOT big donors. This comes primarily through member dues, and occasionally through dedicated fundraising drives for special projects. In our highly capitalistic country, we appreciate every dollar from memberships, special fundraising, or bequests. We especially appreciate members who build a solid foundation for DSA by making a regular monthly contribution (this is NOT the same as starting a DSA membership).

Become a Solidarity Dues (at least 1% of your monthly income) or Monthly Dues member to sustain Broward County DSA’s work and strengthen our national movement through DSA’s Dues Share system. Your ongoing support helps fund local organizing, mutual aid, and political education across South Florida while also contributing to national DSA efforts. Join or renew here!
